God does not see the worship apart from the worshiper.

2 Now Abel kept flocks, and Cain worked the soil. 3 In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the Lord. 4 And Abel also brought an offering—fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offering, 5 but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So, Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast.
Genesis 4:2-5

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
Psalm 51:17

If you don’t master sin, it will master you.

6 Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? 7 If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”
Genesis 4:6-7

Evildoers are snared by their own sin, but the righteous shout for joy and are glad.
Proverbs 29:6

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
1 Peter 5:8

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23

14 But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. 15 Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.
James 1:14-15

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
Ephesians 6:11

God’s grace is greater.

13 Cain said to the Lord, “My punishment is more than I can bear. 14 Today you are driving me from the land, and I will be hidden from your presence; I will be a restless wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me.” Then the Lord said to him, 15 “Not so! If anyone kills Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold.” And the Lord put a mark on Cain, lest any who found him should attack him.
Genesis 4:13-15

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
Lamentations 3:22-23

Your legacy depends on the life that you live.

So, Cain went out from the Lord’s presence and lived in the land of Nod,
east of Eden.
Genesis 4:16

Lamech married two women, one named Adah and the other Zillah.
Genesis 4:19

23 Lamech said to his wives, Adah and Zillah, “listen to me; wives of Lamech, hear my words. I have killed a man for wounding me,  a young man for injuring me”. 24 If Cain is avenged seven times, then Lamech seventy-seven times.
Genesis 4:23-24
