Our mission is to establish peace, hope, and love in people, neighborhoods, and communities across our city. Over the years that’s looked like street cleanups from Kings Canyon to Sky Harbour, makeovers for local ministries, and whatever our neighbors needed next.

Arts

Do you have a creative streak? Do you enjoy performing, creating visual arts, “making the magic happen” on the technical side of the arts, or in communication via the written word? The opportunities for artists and other creative types abound at NewCov.

Campus Support

Are you an “aesthetics” person, or are you someone whose tool belt is your favorite possession? Does keeping things looking and running good bring a smile to your face? Our Campus Facilities Team needs you!

Care & Prayer

Do you have a heart for those who are going through the trials of an illness? Does praying for others come naturally to you and brings you a sense of energy when you are doing it? Our Care and Prayer Ministries are the place for you.

Children & Students

If you love kids and want to make an impact for the future, our Children’s and Students’ ministries are the places to be. From cuddling babies, to encouraging and equipping your children, to walking alongside teens as they grow into adults, we have a role that will use the gifts God has given to make a difference in the lives of kids.

Community Impact

Does the news of hunger, disease, poverty, injustice and spiritual confusion make you want to take action? We have a variety of ministry team and special projects that impact our community, our region and our world.

Do you believe that first impressions can make a huge impact? That creating an accepting, inviting, and safe environment is a must? Our Welcome, Parking and Safety & Security Teams are looking for you.

Hospitality

Do you know how to throw a party? Are you a foodie who loves to share your culinary gifts with others? Is pulling off an event for 500 people “no big thing”? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then our hospitality teams are the place for you.

Technical & Skilled

Enjoy working with gadgets, cables, audio/video, databases and the like? Want to help facilitate the use of technology in the church setting? NewCov has opportunities to use your technical skills or to help you develop new skills.

How do I start serving?
  • Tell us you’re interested – email the office at info@newcov.com or stop by Guest Services any Sunday. We’ll help you find a team that fits your gifts, your schedule, and your season of life.
  • That’s honestly half the fun. We’ll help you figure it out – most people try a team or two before something clicks, and that’s exactly how it’s supposed to work.
  • For most teams, no – you just need a willing heart (roles with kids and students require a background check). Serving is actually one of the best ways to find out whether NewCov feels like home.
  • As much as you can give. Most teams serve on a rotation – once or twice a month is plenty.
