Because family is one of the primary places where faith is learned and lived, NewCov wants to help families thrive through relevant classes, events, and resources.

Date Night
Date Night, Friday, September 11, 2026; 6:00-9:00 pm; NewCov Chapel (On the 2nd floor of main building); Cost: $5 per child. Married? We’ve got you covered! Every marriage needs intentional time together to flourish! Date Night provides a cool goody bag to encourage and enhance your conversation, and for parents—we’re providing childcare for infants-6th grade, so you have uninterrupted time! We’re partnering with Mosaic ministry so special needs families are covered, too (with no age limit for Mosaic students)!!

Creating a Media Safe Home, Sundays, September 20-October 4; 8:45 to 9:45 am, room 201; for parents or grandparents of kids of all ages. Cost: $10 per person. Media is one of the strongest influences in our kids’ lives and many parents feel ill-equipped to build a media-safe home. It’s easier to start early, but it’s never too late. This fast-paced course is filled with laughter, inspiring media, a Biblical perspective on media as well as practical ideas and information you need to help your kids make wise decisions about media and technology. Class led by KC and Karen Hughes.

NewCov Family Tailgating + Fresno State v. Rice Football, Saturday, September 26, 4:00—9:30 pm, Everyone and all ages are welcome to join NewCov’s Tailgating Party on Saturday, September 26, 4:00 to 9:00 pm at NewCov. We’ll have food (tri-tip sandwiches, hotdogs, chips, desserts), games to play (cornhole, and more), t-shirts, and watch the game on a NewCov big screen or at the game!
